Colors & Letters DONE! Survey stragglers! Cards charged this Friday!

HAIL, LEGION OF THUNDER!
COMIC 100% DONE!
We've hit a major milestone today. Colorist Max Bayo has turned in her colors for the FINAL page of the entire series! And on the same day we have approved the lettering for the final issue of the comic! That means that five and a half years after we received the first page of artwork, the creative work on the comic is 100% DONE!!!
We have a little bit of layout work to do in the extra pages at the back of each issue, which will probably feature some design work and pinups by Mike Ratera, and we have to tweak some of the credits pages with our new publishers from the comic campaign. Nina will be knocking that out next week, and then we should be off to the printer!
PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR SURVEYS!
The backer surveys are still active. We have responses from 81% of backers on the original campaign and 57% of backers on the comic campaign. If you have not completed your survey yet, PLEASE DO SO A.S.A.P.!!! The surveys are where we collect your t-shirt design and size choices. How can we make your t-shirt if we don't hear from you? We can't, that's how. So please fill out your survey or risk not getting the shirt you already paid for!
If you can't find your survey just search for "BackerKit" in your e-mail. You should see an e-mail from us with the subject "Response needed..." (Or just shoot us a message and we'll send you a direct link to your survey!)
CARDS WILL BE CHARGED ON FRIDAY!
If you've already filled out your survey, note that your card was not charged when you submitted the survey. We have to manually lock all surveys and charge all cards on our end. We're planning to do that on Friday! Just a heads up so we don't catch you by surprise!

NEW SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT: February 15th in Baltimore, Maryland at Angel's Rock Bar!
SWAG: You're all getting ASoT/Queen of Hell guitar picks. Those should arrive today or Friday. Woo! We'll be ordering lots of other reward items and extras in the coming days.
DEMONS: Josh has been messing around with the final bonus track for the Demons bonus CD. Since it's a demo recording we should be able to knock that out over the weekend, and get the Demons CD into production by the end of next week!

Surveys for this campaign have been sent out via BackerKit. We need your responses before we can order comics, t-shirts, and some other items, so PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR SURVEYS A.S.A.P.! Thanks!
If you also backed the recent "A Sound of Thunder Presents Queen of Hell: Initium" campaign, YES, you will be getting a separate survey for that campaign in a few days.
Substitutions for duplicate comics will be made on the comic campaign, don't worry about those yet!
Vinyl backers: the solid black vinyl doesn't exist anymore. We replaced it with solid red vinyl since almost nobody wanted the black. Please only select the solid red vinyl if you requested a solid black vinyl on the original survey.
You can add a solid red vinyl separately in the "12" Blood Red Vinyl in Blank Sketch Variant Record Jacket" add-on if you want that color!

In the meantime, we've received the lettering proof for the final issue of the comic. Colorist Max Bayo is still working on the final three pages of colors, but since everything is done in separate digital layers we could have our colorist Crank! work ahead over the black and white pages. Here are a couple of his proofs. (There will be one more round of revisions and approvals before lettering is finalized. Sometimes you just don't know exactly what will work until you see it on the page!)

Yesterday's "smoke test" of the surveys was successful, so we're sending the surveys out to everyone else today! Here's some info from Josh:

It looks like the vinyl test pressings and autographed cymbals may be sold out already!
Here are some images of the shirts, vinyl colors, and a few other new items which may be helpful before you complete the survey:
We changed the classic black t-shirt design because we felt the cover to issue #4 worked better on a shirt.
Reminder that the glow-in-the-dark vinyl is now green, not red, and that the solid red vinyl is the replacement for the solid black vinyl. (Please don't choose the solid red unless you chose the solid black in the original survey. These are all now sealed into the blank sketch variant record jackets, and we will be opening them up to mix and match colors for people who wanted the solid black records. For everyone else, please add the blank sketch variant record if you want the solid red.)

Watch your e-mail! BackerKit surveys are about to go out with some special items in the add-ons!
ORIGINAL ART!
Backer surveys will go out via BackerKit very soon and we have procured 40+ pages of Mike Ratera's original art from Queen of Hell: Initium to offer in the add-ons! These are the original hand-drawn oversized pages of artwork from the comic and make incredible wall art and collector's items!
We've gone out on a limb and made a bulk deal with Mike to purchase 46 pages (half of all the pages), so we're hoping many of you will want one of these for your collection! We've put a range of prices from low to high on these pages so that everyone will have an opportunity to get one. Included in these pages are the first full appearances of Udoroth, the Queen of Hell, and several supporting characters, plus a badass double-page splash featuring Queen of Hell and the band!
There are also some signed cymbals and other one of a kind and special items in the surveys, so watch your e-mails and be ready to dive into the survey if you want something for yourself!
A "smoke-test" survey will go out to 5% of backers in the next couple of hours, and to the other 95% as soon as we verify that the surveys are working correctly!
QUEEN OF HELL IN FRANCE!
Sort of! Artst Mike Ratera is currently at an art festival in Illzach, France where they are featuring him and exhibiting a bunch of art from Queen of Hell, or as it's known in France...La Reine de L'Enfer!

"Lord Shiteater"
The final bonus track for the campaign is being recorded right now! "Lord Shiteater" will be featured on the Demons backer-exclusive bonus CD. Could this be the dumbest thing we've ever done...or is it our greatest track of all time?! Probably neither, but we'll know soon! At the very least you'll all get some extra demon-inspired riffs in your ears!

Our first show with Justin on drums is coming up fast on Friday, November 22nd! We hope to see some of you at Reclaim Arcade in Fredericksburg, Virginia where we'll likely be playing two sets and featuring and playing a mix of old and new songs, including one unreleased song!
